Fernando Andrade Adaniya

Dr. Andrade is passionate about children’s well-being, social and educational inequalities, and health disparities. His current research interests are in early childhood education, preschool curriculum validation, and development of child, teacher, and classroom assessments. He also participates in several program evaluation activities. He has a strong background in applied statistics and quantitative research methods. After teaching at Western Michigan University as an Assistant Professor of Evaluation Methods and Research for two years, he joined HighScope in May 2016. Previously, he earned a master’s degree in statistics and a Ph.D. in educational studies from the University of Michigan.
