Matt Hirshberg is a scientist at the Center for Healthy Minds, University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research seeks to understand the competencies and dispositions that are most essential to healthy development and how these competencies can be systematically strengthened, particularly through in-person and mobile health meditation-based interventions. He is currently research meditation-based interventions with adults who work in schools, Mexican teachers and health care providers, and adolescents reporting elevated depressive symptoms.
