Wendy M. Reinke, Ph.D. is a Professor in the School Psychology program at the University of Missouri, co-director of the Missouri Prevention Science Institute, and director of the National Center for Rural School Mental Health with special interest in advancing scholarship in the areas of school mental health, the prevention of disruptive behavior problems in youth and dissemination of school and community-based evidence-based interventions. She has authored over 140 peer-reviewed journal publications, 14 book chapters, and 7 books including several innovative and influential studies concerning the prevention of child disruptive behavior problems, teacher consultation, and school mental health. Further, she is the Principal Investigator or Co-Principal Investigator on successful grants totaling over $50 million dollars. She has been PI or Co-PI on several large-scale group randomized control trials, including two training and coaching programs to support elementary school (PI: Reinke, R305A100342) and middle school teachers use of effective classroom management practices (PI: Herman, R305A130143). She completed a developmental project to create and evaluate a web-based version of the Classroom Check-up (CCU; PI: Reinke, R305A130375), which resulted in a current randomized control trial evaluation of the web-based CCU with early career teachers and natural implementing coaches (PI: Reinke, R305A200297).
