Allison Wainer, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and the Research Director of the Autism Assessment, Research, Treatment and Services Center at Rush University Medical Center. Her program of research focuses on ways to support the transportation of effective early intervention for children with ASD and related neurodevelopmental conditions to the “real world.” Her work has explored strategies to maximize the reach of trained professionals, bring interventions directly to families via telehealth, and enhance training for community-based service providers.
