Yael Stern, PhD, CCC-SLP is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Rush University Medical Center. She received her PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University where she also acquired her clinical certification in speech-language pathology. Yael’s training has focused on delivering and studying caregiver-mediated communication and language interventions for young autistic children. In her current postdoctoral position, Yael trains community early intervention providers in an evidence-based program for children with social communication delays. She is interested in continuing to support the design and implementation of strategies that facilitate high-quality, sustainable use of evidence-based early interventions for children with developmental disabilities in community settings.
